ONE FACT:
The first item ever auctioned off on eBay (then: AuctionWeb) was a broken laser pointer in the good ole year of 1995.
The broken laser pointer sold for $14.83.
Who said that broken items have no value?! Everything Sells on eBay!
ONE TIP:
Are you one of those people who frequantly misspell words? Not to fret… on eBay the misspelling of a word can get you some of the best buys.
Try this, go to eBay and search for a LABTOP. Yup, L A B T O P, not laptop. See what appears.
You will find tons of laptops under that misspelling being that it is a very well known and commonly misspelteded word. Try some other words, company or product names you will be surprized at what you find.
I once tried to find a Canon ink cartridge only to have misspelled CANNON. In the mean time I found a printer that I wanted and saw that the seller also misspeled Canon in their listing. I watched it for several days and no one even looked at it. I bid on it at the last moment only to win the auction for a meer $48.
Back then the printer was selling for $140 retail and up to $120 on eBay.
What a steal! Oh yea, I bought ink that day too.
So, leran howl to mispel wrds proprly annd win mor oxshuns!
For those of you who really can’t spell, like me, here is a handy link.

One Fact - One Tip
One Fact - One Tip #1 Presented by, 123eBay.net
FACT:
eBay transacts over $100,00 per minute through the eBay system. WOW! Now that’s some pocket change! (eBay assumes approximately 5% of that $100K = $5000 per minute of eBay revenue.) Heck, and I’m just trying to scrounge up $45 to pay my phone bill.
TIP:
HELP! Do you hate the enormity of ebay’s Site Map when it comes to trying to find answers to your eBay questions??? I know that I do, and I am trained at eBay.
Just log onto eBay and go to the main page, www.eBay.com. In the upper right hand corner of your screen, under the navigation buttons, you will find a link entitled, LIVE HELP.
Mind you, Live Help works best using Internet Explorer or Fire Fox browsers. Netscape has a few bugs that does not like the Java script used to enable the chat box, or so that had been my experience.
Have a particular question about eBay, Contact me.
If I don’t know the answer to your question when I read your request, I surely will know the answer by the time I respond!
